October 2025 was above average, but not too extreme. The average High of 13°C was the 33rd warmest. That's below 5th place 2022, but above everything else since 2015. The average Low of 1.3°C was the 23rd warmest, and in the same range as 2024 & 2023.
It's always worth mentioning that October along with April are our least changed months. The Lows have warmed by a degree or two, but the average Highs aren't too different from 140 years ago. That's quite different from a month like January or even July.
High Temperatures October's Highs were mostly close to or above average. The only particularly cold days were the 12th & 13th, although they were nowhere near the bottom of our range. Overall 21 Highs were above average and 10 were below.

Quebec City is way out ahead with over 960mm.
Most of these cities are pretty average, but St. John's 820mm is actually well below average, and Halifax's 746mm is its 2nd lowest on record.

Snow Across Canada Calgary was the only city in our list to record any snow in October. They average 11cm, but in 2025 they only got 1cm.
November For November, we average around 18 Highs above 0°C, but we also start seeing lows of -10°C or -15°C. -20°C even shows up sometimes, like in 2022, and 2010-2015. 2014 got down to -29.8°C.
Over the next few months our average High drops from 5°C down to around -7°C at new years, and spends a bunch of the winter around -4°C.
The average Low drops from -3°C to -16°C, and spends a bunch of the winter around -13°C.
